Join the Rio Grande Valley Down Syndrome Association as we unite for a common cause and raise funds at the RGVDSA Step Up for Down Syndrome Awareness Walk!

This event is the major annual fundraising event for the RGV Down Syndrome Association. All money raised will stay in the Rio Grande Valley to fund RGVDSA’s various activities and programs. So whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, take the first step and donate or register today! Everyone is welcome to participate in our day of celebration!

To participate in this event, select the "REGISTER" button to set up a new or returning team, join a team, or register as an individual. Additional family/team members can be added by selecting the green "Add Another Registrant" button during Step 3. After you complete registration you can start your team or personal fundraising page by selecting the "Fundraising Page Set Up" button at the top of the online receipt.

Returning Team Captains please note: in Step 2 of registration, you can enter your user name and password to have access to your team and donor information from the prior year.  If you do not remember your credentials, you can request them in this step. Click here for instructions.

If you cannot participate in this event but would like to make a donation to the RGV Down Syndrome Association, please select the DONATE button. You can also donate to an individual or team by visiting their fundraising page under the TEAMS/PEOPLE tab.

T-shirt Pick-Up
For those who registered before the t-shirt deadline, t-shirts will be ready for pick-up on Thursday, October 17, and Friday, October 18th at our office located at 801 E. Fern Ave, McAllen, TX 

Registration Fees:  

Adult Registration - $15 (ages 18 and over - t-shirt included with registration by 9/22.)  

Child Registration - $15 (ages 3-17 - t-shirt included with registration by 9/22.)  

Individual with Down syndrome - free (t-shirt included when registered by 9/22)

T-shirts are not included with registrations after 11:59pm on 9/22/2024.
