This year will be Sam's 10th Buddy Walk! His first walk he was just a little guy, and we were learning where this journey would take us. This fall he will be 9 years old, in 2nd grade at an amazing school, and still keeping us all on our toes. He brings joy to our lives, and so many others. And we are so grateful to the DSAJ for all the guidance and support they have brought to our family and the whole Down Syndrome community in North East Florida!
This year, we want to make team Sam Jam the biggest it's ever been! We are asking everyone we know to join and help Sam to celebrate his 10th Buddy Walk.
We are walking to show our support for our child and more than 400,000 other individuals with Down syndrome in the U.S. Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to ensuring that our child and every individual will have the opportunity to reach their potential.
Our fundraising efforts will support local programs and services, as well as National Down Syndrome Society advocacy and public awareness initiatives that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.
